Lady Blazer Instructional Camp

(Day camp only)

For development of the young player, emphasis will be placed on shooting, passing, ball handling, and all fundamental aspects of the game of basketball. Bring your lunch and eat with the Lady Blazers.

Ages: 5-13

Date: June 7-10, 2010 (Monday-Thursday)

Check-in Date/Time: June 7 from 8:45-9:30 a.m.

Times for Camp: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Cost: $70

Deposit: $20 Non-refundable

Application Deadline: May 31, 2010

* Walk-ups are accepted but must be accompanied by a legal guardian for signature purposes.

Lady Blazer Post Player Camp

Post camp has evolved from the overwhelming response we’ve had from our Player Development camp and drills we specifically use to develop our post players in a practice setting.  It is for the post player who wants to elevate her game to the next level.  Drill work is specific to the development of both the offensive and defensive end of post play including but not limited to: post moves and counter-moves, post positioning, post passing, body balance, post defense, strength and conditioning and much, much more. Limited to 30 spots.

Ages: Girls entering grades 9-12 in fall 2010

Date: June 13-14, 2010 (Sunday-Monday)

Check-in Date/Time: June 13 at 3 p.m.

Camp Begins: June 13, 4 p.m.

Camp Concludes: June 14

Cost: $100

Special notes: Must be 5-9 or taller

Lady Blazer Guard Development Camp

Guard camp is in its inaugural season and is designed for the serious-minded high school guard! We will utilize Lady Blazer practice drills that stress advanced ball handling and passing skills, shooting skills, strength and conditioning, offense, defense and game control for point guard, shooting guard and off-guard/small forward positions. Limited to 40 spots.

Ages: Girls entering grades 9-12 in fall 2010

Date: June 15-16, 2010 (Tuesday-Wednesday)

Check-in Date/Time: June 15 at 11 a.m.

Camp Begins: June 15, 1 p.m.

Camp Concludes: June 16

Cost: $100
